At Houle Capital, we are on a mission to introduce liberal arts students to the world of finance.. Now commonly seen as a purview of STEM, we believe the core tenets of investing remain rooted in the ability to think critically and create a sound investment thesis. Rather than say one strategy fits all when it comes to investing (which is foolish because not all strategies work well in different market phases - watch out for any so called "trading experts" that claim they have one system), we prepare students to research, analyze, and act based on their observations of the world, history, current events, valuation, fundamentals, and technicals. Through access to our Aeneas Fund, students can see real results of how a real life hedge fund puts this perspective into practice, and train them how to create their own world view with which to trade, and access support in building their own business as entrepreneurs.
